I use Pilates exercises, body weight movements and weights, to help women gain strength and improve mobility. As we age, we need to maintain muscle mass to keep our metabolism revving, retain our balance and to challenge our bone strength/prevent osteoporosis. We also want to maintain our mobility by moving our joints and releasing our fascia. The more I learn about the body, the more I understand that our workouts need to change as we age. We don't need to beat ourselves up at the gym with high intensity exercises that raise our cortisol levels. We just need to maintain MUSCLE and MOBILITY. I'm a Registered Nurse, Professional Wellness Coach, Personal Trainer, Nutrition Coach, Pilates Instructor and Corrective Exercise Specialist.
