In the heart of rural Missouri is a small, family oriented school of 134 students where the atmosphere is positive and academically successful. Students who play outside in the evenings and take care of the animals on their family farms. During the day these engaged students work hard to be creative, innovative thinkers. With cognitive and critical thinking being a staff goal, divergent thinking is a priority. Hawk Point Elementary’s core values begin with simply, working hard and being nice, while also being respectful, responsible, creative and safe. All stakeholders work together to create a culture of support.
