Welcome to my urban homestead! I’m a working mother of two, a dog, 7 chickens and 12 quail. I live in a vintage home in zone 7B. My urban “farm” occupies more than half of my backyard. It consists of 10 mixed planting spaces from raised beds to no dig beds to containers. . Have I attended school for agriculture? No. Have I had any formal training? No. Do I love gardening? YES! This channel is simply my gardening journey documented and shared! Our (mine and my daughter) garden journey started during the COVID quarantine. My daughter eats all things healthy and I did not. The garden has helped me to eat better, gives me a place to relax and exhale at the end of the day, helps bring me clarity…it’s an amazing “hobby”. .
