Hola Amigos! I'm Maria and welcome to my little corner on the internet. Most of my life, I have been morbidly obese... up to 350 lbs & I was also very ill. My biggest problem was diabetes. I used to survive on a cocktail of pharmaceutical drugs. Today I don't. So I'm here to tell you that it's possible to heal. Thru a combination of conventional & holistic methods, my life has changed. I've lost over 180 pounds... no pills, no surgery... and I don't take any diabetic medications. I've been through the process of changing my habits & changing my life. Its well worth it. So I'm here to share with you my journey of healing and I'll be talking about how you too can incorporate good healthy habits into your life. I'll also be putting up some recipe videos of Latino dishes that I love cooking that are vegan, gluten-free, weight loss and diabetic friendly.
