GNX is the Linux User Group and Open Source Community of Netaji Subhash Engineering College, Kolkata-152. It is the successor of the original Nixal GLUG which went defunct a decade back. Though GNX inherits the will and principles of Nixal, #GNX stands for GNX's Not niXal (a play on the abbreviation GNU). It is maintained by students in association with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering of NSEC. GNX is open to all students and faculty who are enthusiastic about Linux, emerging technologies and of course, Open Source! Anyone from Netaji Subhash Engineering College can join our ranks without any distinction of Stream or Year. We host webinars by industry experts and students for our community members.
