Created for and dedicated to my love for Harley and Loa…and dogs, dogs, dogs! Those ridiculous creatures. Those ridiculously amazing creatures. Those ridiculously life changing creatures. People often ask…why do humans love dogs? And so many people say it’s because dogs love us unconditionally. But I personally think we love dogs because of how they allow us to love. They allow us to love with vulnerability. When we love a dog, we remove ourselves from the fear of not being accepted. We can be our stripped-down selves. Our “dance as if no one else is watching” selves. Humans are complicated, but dogs allow us to have at least one relationship that is simple. They don’t care if we have bad grammar or bad credit. They don’t care if we stay out late to hang out with our friends. They care only that we come home.
