I am a Suburban Homesteader in the Northeast corner of Wyoming for half the year and we now have a place in Arizona during the winter. Apple Cottage has berries, brambles, vines and shrubs. Most of our landscape is edible, beautiful or nitrogen fixing. Our home has evolved over the last 16 years into a peaceful, into a self-sustaining property in Gillette, Wyoming, with our goal to do the same in Arizona. Gardens and trees surround Apple Cottage, bees, butterflies and all types of pollinators and wildlife live here. Our cottage is filled with baking, sewing, painting and books.
