Welcome to the "The Backyard Barbecue Project" YouTube Channel. We are a competition BBQ team based in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. We started competition barbecue in 2018 at the PORKAPALOOZA BBQ FESTIVAL in Edmonton, Alberta. It was a learning experience to say the least!. In the off season (winter) we practised a lot, asked a lot of questions of other seasoned teams and we ended up competing at 5 sanctioned competitions and the highlight was winning the Jon Lord Rookie team of the year award at BBQ on the Bow (Canada's oldest sanctioned BBQ competition). With our You tube channel we hope to keep all our friends and family updated on all "going ons" with Grizzly Paw Smokers!. Don't forget to hit the subscribe button for updates and recipe videos.
