I am a Family physician with a D.O./M.P.H and my patients used to call me Dr. Jill when I had my private practice in Redding, CA. I want to show you how to make delicious meals that will provide support for common health conditions ranging from depression to cardiovascular disease as well as diabetes, women's and men's health, memory and aging. Along the way I want to experiment with new recipes, do live cooking demos, and discuss the the role of specific nutrients in the recipes and why they are beneficial. I'm also passionate about low-fat foods and the Mediterranean diet. Probably, from living in Texas and attending medical school there, my most favorite food is Southwestern!!!
