Instead, please scroll down this site until you find the section for VideoPad, and then download one dated 2016 or earlier to avoid the paywall: http://www.oldversiondownload.com/ I have the licensed software for version 5 only, which was released in 2016. I do not know if the old version has the same issues as the new one. I stick to it because it is what I know. My comfort zone. But free and open source alternatives, such as Kdenlive, work just as well. Try those before bothering to purchase.
