Hello! My name is Surabhi Bharadwaj. I'm originally from Bangalore, India but residing in the San Francisco Bay Area since 2015. I learned the beautiful art of Bharatanatyam under the tutelage of Guru K. M. Raman, Guru Smt Radha Sridhar, and Guru B Bhanumati. I received my MFA in Bharatanatyam from Sastra University under the guidance of Dr. Padma Subrahmanyam and completed a second Master's in Dance: Design and Production which taught me about the technical aspects of putting a production together. I also freelance as a lighting designer for dance. On my channel, you will find all things dance - from rehearsals and promo videos to snippets from my performances as well as useful tips for aspiring Bharatanatyam dancers.
