More than 1000 Saudi students come to Vancouver annually to study at different universities and colleges. The Saudi Students Association in Canada Vancouver (SSAC Vancouver) serves all Saudi students throughout their stay in Canada. SSAC Vancouver is a non profit organization, its main office is located in Richmond, British Columbia. SSAC Vancouver helps students settle in Vancouver on their arrival by guiding them throughout the transition period they go through and helping them find accommodation, cars and furniture. SSAC Vancouver keeps students connected to the Saudi Embassy and the Saudi Arabian Cultural Bureau in Ottawa. SSAC Vancouver organizes weekly cultural, educational, social (monthly dinners and Eid celebrations..etc) and sports activities (Soccer, Billiard and table tennis tournaments), these activities come after a busy week to relief students and their families and strengthen the bonds among community members.
