I created this channel to share my joy of gardening, tips and tricks I’ve learned as well as my failures. Also know I have a personal archive for the future when I neet to remember something! I’m a young beginner gardener and started in 2020 in the pandemic but took off in 2022 with proper commitments to gardening. Based in Gauteng, South Africa. Growing Zone 9b (Freezing temps: -3.9°C to -1.1°C). I’m also a Computer Scientist by day ;), thus being the Garden Scientist. I learn as a go along and I’m a firm believer in science and methodology. I’m also currently a PhD candidate. I believe in companion planting and feeding your ground (microbiome) with nutrients. I plant flowers and veggies as well as trees! I have a love for exotic and indigenous plants. I have exotic peppers, dragon fruit, tomatoes and Saffron!
