Documenting my journey of learning how to slow down, live in rhythm with nature, love through cancer, and embrace the simple joys that make life beautiful. Welcome, I am Rachel O'Bare and I live in a tiny mountain town in Colorado at 8440ft. I moved here at the start of the pandemic (March 2020) when I was quarantined with my partner Kyle after three months of dating. After just one year of dating, Kyle was diagnosed with brain cancer for the third time. This past three years has been about learning how to slow down even more, find optimism in struggle, love through cancer, and learn how to cultivate calm.
