North Carolinians are passionate about their “Tar Heel State”. A study by United Van lines says Americans are still moving to North Carolina at a higher rate than any other state in the country. Why? It is beautiful, and now an extremely popular tourist destination. -Pepsi Cola-it was invented in New Bern, North Carolina. -Krispy Kreme-the tasty donuts were first created in Winston Salem, North Carolina. -Barbeque-Vinegar based pork barbeque to be precise.
