I started out with an Atari 2600 from a second-hand shop somewhere around 35 years ago and I'm still just as crazy about games as I was back then. I left the genetics program at University of Alberta after my first year, looking to find something other than a life surrounded by windowless concrete walls. I wound up finding a job and started writing PC game reviews on the side, first for a small independent site and eventually writing PC and console reviews for EGM and Incite. Those gigs landed me a job at a newspaper - one that I would only agree to take if they allowed me to do a weekly games column. That was 16 years ago, and - though I left the paper to do other things - I'm still doing the column. I'm totally open to taking suggestions, so if you've got a game you think I'd love let me know.
