Glymur Resort is a boutique hotel situated high on a hillside on the northern shore of the beautiful "Whale fjord" just 50 kilometers/30 miles from Reykjavík or 90 kilometers/55 miles from the airport. The hotel is open all year around. The Hotel has 23 executive rooms. 22 of the executive rooms are on two floors with a bathroom and a sitting room on the lower floor and the sleeping area on the upper floor. One of the rooms is on the ground floor and is designed for guest who are not able to use the stairs. Our outdoor hot tubs have been chosen one of the five best scenic hot tubs in the world. With a fantastic view over the „Whale Fjord" and a great chance of viewing the marvellous Northern Lights while enjoying a glass of wine in the crystal clear arctic winter nights, dipping into these hot tubs filled with warm geothermal water straight from the ground can be a truly unforgettable experience.
