About

This channel is a hobby and experiment which I started for 3 reasons: First, I have made a habit for years of meeting 1 or 2 new people every week, and wanted to share the inspiration they were giving to me in an interview format, Second, during my time at Google, I wanted to prove that with a smartphone and idea, you can become a creator, reaching a global audience, experiencing YouTube as a creator would, Third, though I can't sing, dance, draw, play an instrument - you get the picture - I love creativity and found editing a great way of expressing that. For 3 years I put out a weekly video - all breathtakingly amateur - but had huge fun doing it, clocking up more than 250 videos. I'm now focusing on new interests so no longer put videos out, but leave the content here as a passion project - authentically me - and also to serve as a low water mark for the millions of creators who do it much better than I ever did, hoping they enjoy their craft as much as I did trying ;)
