Are you missing your life by trying so hard to figure it out? I was. I spent years "healing," optimizing, and waiting to become someone worthy of happiness. Meanwhile, my life was passing me by. I'm Stacia, and this channel is my experiment in choosing differently. Every week, I explore a new country through the Alphabet Atlas, immersing myself in food, culture, art, and music from A to Z. As a way to remember there are infinite ways to live beyond what American culture sold me. I also share the messy, vulnerable stuff: learning to dress for myself instead of male attention, navigating unemployment and starting over at 37, discovering what joy feels like when you stop waiting for permission.
