Chef Chuck Dugo trained at California culinary academy , apprenticed with an Alsatian chocolatier ( Alfred Schilling ) , worked under D.Jemal Edwards, Spent three years in Taiwan as Executive pastry chef for LuLu company , Was the Executive pastry chef for many years at the Slanted Door in San Francisco after which he worked for the Au Bon Repas group for a year. Relocated to Seattle and worked with Thierry Ratureau at Loulay Kitchen and Bar as his Exec pastry chef, and then worked under Bruce Dillon at Snoqualmie Casino for four years, currently resides San Diego but will be relocating back to the PNW in Portland Oregon. David G. is a classically trained mens barber and usually just eats the goods as they come...but he's doing his part to give a hand in the kitchen.
