I’m Connor Asher — a Chicago-based SFX artist, puppeteer, puppet builder/wrangler, singer, writer, and stage tech with a passion for bringing stories to life. With over a decade of experience in TV, film, commercials, and live performance, I’ve built a wide range of creative and technical skills. I’ve trained under industry pros at Legacy Effects and The Jim Henson Company, and thrive in dynamic, collaborative environments. I’ve worked with clients like Leo Burnett, STORY CO, PBS, DreamWorks, RAIN-X, Jane Lynch, WAX, Ed Bassmaster, The Insurance King, and Magic Wheelchair. I’ve also served as president of the Chicagoland Puppetry Guild and as a board member for the Puppeteers of America’s Great Lakes Region. In every role, I bring a flexible, solutions-driven mindset, strong logistical skills, and a commitment to excellence.
