As an avid cinematic ethnographer, I have a strong drive to capture the fleeting moment as it passes, striving to contain the feeling within a moment. I love shooting video and love working with people; observing as their process is unveiled. My formal training is in documentary and I am a huge fan of Cinema Verite, yet I thoroughly enjoy the slight and subtle distortions one can create through the camera, unveiling our eternal gaps in knowledge between waking reality and dream. Much of my work to this point has been with poets, musicians and performing artists of various forms. I am open to working in a variety of environments. I am available to discuss, plan and execute small productions since I have my own camera package and editing suite. Further, I have a team of knowledgeable and dedicated people I can draw upon for larger productions. I like to push beyond basic videography and offer a unique and creative view of events, shows and people.
