The Mariners’ Museum and Park connects people to the world’s waters because that is how we are connected to one another. As stewards of one of the world’s most extensive maritime collections, The Mariners’ Museum and Park is committed to the preservation and conservation of more than 32,000 objects and several million library and archive materials. Designated by Congress as America’s National Maritime Museum, the Museum provides access to the collection through exhibitions, educational programs, loans, publications, and online media. The 550-acre Mariners’ Park is home to the 167-acre Mariners’ Lake, 5-mile Noland Trail, iconic Lions Bridge, and our “living collection”: the forest, water, and wildlife that we proudly steward, as well. The Museum’s signature $1 admission price is a symbol – it represents our mission and purpose, and serves as a reminder that through our shared connection to the world’s waters, we are ONE city, ONE region, ONE nation and ONE world.
