The Woodbine Turf Races is an annual workplace charity event to support the United Way at Woodbine Racetrack in Toronto (last held on Saturday, September 21, 2013). Woodbine Entertainment Group employees and affiliates participate in a number of running events on the world renowned E.P. Taylor Turf Course - just like the race horses! Money is raised by each participant through the collection of personal/team donations and wagers which are then tallied and put into a final pool before raceday with a minimum of half of all funds collected go directly to the United Way while the rest cover winning bets (any uncollected wins are also then added to the charity). Events include a 5K Walk/Run, Children's Races and two 4 x 100 metre team relays. All races will be run over Woodbine's world famous E.P.Taylor Turf course. Without you, there could be no way.
