Chris Griffith is a senior technology journalist for The Australian newspaper based in Sydney. Before that he was Media Development Editor and Online Deputy News Editor. He has worked in TV and radio, but mostly in newspapers: first as a columnist with The Sun-Herald in Brisbane in the early 1990s, and then as a reporter with five year stints at both The Sunday Mail and The Courier-Mail before helping pioneer the paper's coverage on the Internet. He also has a long association with computing that extends back to the late 1960s having worked as a computer programmer/analyst, and in education.
