Hello and welcome to our channel! We're Grant & Kristina and we're not your average Gringos! We returned to Canada in 2017 after living in the Caribbean and South America. Not ready to experience Canadian winters we spent the first couple of winters in Belize and Dominica. Then in 2019 we decided to make our move permanent and we created this channel to share our journey. Unfortunately we were interrupted by a global pandemic. Undeterred we continued to work towards our goals: to get out of the rat race, find a slower pace, and become more self sufficient and environmentally friendly. We finally landed in Portugal in January 2022! After 4 months of searching we finally found our little piece of paradise thanks to Jose Henrique Cabeco with Remax Vantagem. We are now the proud owners of a ruin in fairly habitable condition. Join us as we embrace our new lifestyle!
