You may be wondering why I’m walking through the forest… Over the last 20 years, I’ve been fortunate to travel the world working as a developer. I’ve visited many countries and have enjoyed learning about their communities and cultures. I can work from anywhere and I’m part of a team of developer advocates that are distributed worldwide from the United States to Japan, to right here in Germany. All of the travel is exciting and rewarding but sometimes, I need nature’s calm for my creativity. For me, this means moving about in the forest, spending time in it, finding a place to sit and pursue my tasks and thoughts. It is my way of balance, bringing technology into nature. I can breathe the fresh air and concentrate on my next project without distraction. The forest is my second home, my creative workshop.
