Homemade cooking that brings joy Hello, my name is Nikol, I am Czech / American and I am an amateur cook. Ever since I was a little girl, I remember standing on a chair by the kitchen work top helping my mum preparing lunch every Saturday and Sunday. At a very early age I was able to prepare complicated meals including sauces and dumplings, which are an inseparable part of Czech cuisine. During this time, my interest and understanding of cooking started as I learned what flavors work together, what spices go with what and the basic technical steps. My curiosity in cooking continued as I started exploring about different types of cuisines. I have visited over 30 countries and a big part of my traveling experience was always about the local food and exploring new flavors. I enjoy trying new recipes and I try to recreate the meals I liked the most. Thank you for visiting my channel.
