At YWCA San Antonio, our mission is to eliminate racism and empower women. Every day, we get up and do the work of justice through affordable and accessible childcare, teen development, mentorship, economic empowerment, and breast cancer services. We draw our strength from our community and on the 200+ YWCA locations located across the nation and world. Since justice looks different in every community, our work does too. YWCA San Antonio services are provided to over 9,000 individuals each year, and participant ages include 6 months to 96 years. Not only do we provide direct services to underserved communities within San Antonio, we also engage in advocacy for wage equity, immigrant rights, and anything that makes the world more equitable and fair. We do this work because we envision a world of opportunity, and we demand equity. YWCA San Antonio won't stop until the world sees women, girls, and people of color the way we do: Equal, Powerful, and, Unstoppable.
