Teens of Color Abroad (TOCA) is a nationally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2018 to create language learning, cultural exchange, and study abroad opportunities for high school students of color. Since 2018, TOCA has grown into a national organization with award-winning language and cultural immersion programming for high school students, virtual language learning opportunities, federal Stevens’ Initiative funding for Arabic language exchange, and expanding alumni leadership offerings. In 2025, TOCA operates across three primary pillars: TOCA Online, High School Study Abroad (Spain and France), and Alumni Initiatives.
