Welcome to Tom'sJunkyard! Here I make films about fixing broken stuff and about projects I've been involved with. Petrol runs through my veins, and most of all I love older, entirely mechanical machinery. So most of the films are about fixing & driving older cars. But you will see films of a few other projects here too, including some projects I have done with other people and some that I have done through work. Fixing stuff on a tight budget is also something that has always interested me - sometimes through necessity but I'm also interested in the creativity that is generated when you can't simply throw money or even time at a project. This channel is also the home of my 1958 Wolseley 6/90 project - which you can follow from the junkyard, through recommissioning to driving on the open road. She is one of just 25 surviving cars in the UK, and 112 in the whole world. Since being put on the road, this car has now circumnavigated the world twice - 50,000 miles!
