At the age of twelve, Dave could be found on the floor of his bedroom, learning to play guitar to his brothers’ hand-me-down Beatles albums. He drummed in the school band, and by high school, he'd discovered jazz and fallen in love with the electric and upright bass guitar while fusion and progressive rock reigned supreme in his album collection. His formative influences included Geddy Lee of Rush, John Entwistle of the Who, Chris Squire of Yes, and fusion bass superstar, Stanley Clarke. Before he was 21, he'd established himself as a successful touring and studio musician. In addition to his studio work, Dave's latest project is creating content for his YouTube series, "Dave Plays Bass".
