I became a mortgage lender because my first home buying experience was terrible. We had no idea what we were doing and the lender spent zero time educating us on the process or what we actually qualified for. We ended up "maxed qualified" and eating top ramen while seeing our house as a burden instead of a asset. There had to be a better way! My goal from day one has always been to educate my clients so they understand what they are getting into.
