I’m Georgia East – a cook, writer and photographer based on the Cape West Coast of South Africa. With a background in food journalism, I write extensively on food, travel and lifestyle for various publications – both local and international. I'm also a self-taught photographer and food stylist, and spend my time working on client campaigns, menu imagery and social media content for brands and projects, including my first cookbook West Coast Wander, published in late 2019. I joke that I have the diet of a seal and so you'll likely find seafood recipes here that celebrate our beautiful "Weskus". Because you know what they say – if you don’t like fish, try a little harder!
