At World Cancer Research Fund, we examine how diet, weight and physical activity can affect your risk of developing and surviving cancer. Our work helps people to live longer, happier and healthier lives – free from the devastating effects of cancer. Since 1990, as a network, we have invested more than £140m into cancer prevention and survival research. And it’s all thanks to our amazing supporters! Around 40 per cent of cancers in the UK could prevented – equating to nearly 155,000 cases every year. Eating a healthy diet, being more active and staying a healthy weight are, after not smoking and avoiding the sun, the most important ways we can reduce our cancer risk. https://www.wcrf.org/
