I, Stephen Lancaster, am the geomorphdog. I'm a geology professor at Oregon State University in the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Sciences. My specialties are geomorphology and hydrology, and I am leader of the Surface Processes Research Group. Most of the videos on this channel are professional, i.e., outcomes of, and therefore closely related to, my professional activities in teaching, research, and service. A few videos are purely personal, and some videos may inhabit a gray area where the personal and professional are mixed. Why "geomorphdog"? The name has no amusing origin story but, rather, is simply something I came up with one day and have kept, I suppose, for sentimental reasons.
