Welcome to HouseMakes! We are Joe and Chantelle and we LOVE projects! We spent the first 7 years of our marriage building up our first home, and finally have decided to move on to another big project and want to bring you along. Our family is what's most important to us, and we know having a home is an essential part of that. For that reason, we decided to make a change and found somewhere that better fits our family, but also had to sacrifice the comfort of our first home which we completed just weeks before leaving. We wanted to share our struggles, victories, and everything between when it comes to our own version of DIY renovation.
