About

The Centers for Applied Science and Technology (CAST) is a network of tuition-free, industry-led, career-themed, high schools and one PK4-12 Academy in San Antonio, TX. Current schools include: CAST Tech, CAST STEM, CAST Med, CAST Lead, CAST Teach and the Advanced Learning Academy. CAST’s innovative school model fosters co-creation and the development of self-advocacy, and student agency. Students learn by doing and gain real world experience through internship, job shadowing and mentorship opportunities. CAST students will graduate from high school with a diploma and up to two years of college credits, plus the opportunity to earn industry-recognized certificates. The Network is a nonprofit and operates in partnership with San Antonio ISD, Southwest ISD, East Central ISD, Northside ISD, plus higher education institutions and industry partners.
