After graduating from Cal Poly SLO with a BS degree in Agriculture Business Management, Dick began his real estate career in 1982 as an appraiser. The 3 years as an appraiser provided him with valuable knowledge of a wide variety of property types, including single-family residential, income property, raw land, and commercial real estate. Dick has been a member of the Pismo Coast Association of Realtors since 1987. As a result of his “foreclosure tours” in 2008, he received widespread media coverage. Good Morning America (ABC-TV) covered and featured the fourth tour. Dick was interviewed live, via satellite hookup, on Neal Cavuto’s program on Fox News. Nightline and The NewsHour (PBS with Jim Lehrer) is among others interested in covering the seminars. In June of 2008, Dick and Narlene were featured in CAR Magazine. He now works with his wife, Narlene, on a small team known as the Keenan Carter Group. He enjoys talking about team building and business planning.
