In 2002 Kim Smart launched Smart Interiors, a boutique interior decorating firm known for producing inspired interiors. Her design and decorating talents led her to the popular HGTV show Decorating Cents where Kim was a featured decorator in the Redesign segments. In these segments, Kim designed and shared information on her amazing room transformations based around using the homeowners existing furnishings. The inspired work from Smart Interiors has also been published in numerous Interior Design publications. Over her design career, Kim has worked across a variety of different residential design styles and budgets. Her portfolio includes the Smart Interiors personalized take on styles like traditional, modern, beach cottage, Mediterranean, boutique chic, kid's rooms and more. Kim has successfully applied her unique styling by collaborating with an array of homeowners and the Do-It-Yourself crowds, to fulfill her clients decorating goals, on time and on budget.
