MOM & DAUGHTER COOK Moving back to the same city as my parents after 7 years, reintroduced me to the flavours and foods I grew up with. This made me realize how much I’d missed my mom’s cooking. It also reminded me that there is so much variety and flavours available in a normal Indian kitchen. I just had to learn more about traditional Indian dishes and this was the best time to do it! My style of cooking is basic, quick, easy and mostly healthy. As a traveller, my palate seeks variety even in my everyday meals. But I don't like spending hours preparing food. So in the kitchen I play with flavours and create simple yet innovative meals. It occurred to me that I should document recipes that my family and I love. So this project is an attempt at creating a record of some amazing recipes.
