Headstart Network is India's largest volunteer-driven grass root level organization supporting entrepreneurship and startups with a presence in 20+ cities and conducts 200+ meetups across India impacting over 20,000 lives through its activities. It was founded in 2008 and has a 150+ strong volunteer force across India. Some of its initiatives include Startup Saturday (Headstart's flagship event and one of India's most popular startup events), Higher (the hiring event), Headstart Mentor (To mentor startups), WE (to mentor women entrepreneurs), Kickstart (Connecting startups and investors), Cofounder Search (helping connect cofounders), Inturn (helping hire interns) among others. We have had famous startups like Ola, Flipkart and Freecharge pitch/demo at our meetups before they became famous. Some of Headstart’s partners include multiple state governments, SAP Startup Studio, TiE Bangalore, Yourstory, IIM-B’s NSRCEL and T-Hub.
