I'm a Mexican & Portuguese San Diego-based author, home cook, and podcaster celebrating culinary magic! I believe anyone can learn to cook delicious Mexican food, and all are welcome here! My mother taught me how to cook, and I hope to inspire you to try some of our recipes and experience the joy of delicious tacos, enchiladas, tamales, abondigas, soups, Santa Maria-style BBQ, and so much more! One of my dreams came true recently, and I competed on Food Network's Guy's Grocery Games Flavortown Academy, where I shared my Mexican cooking expertise and had a blast! I grew up on a California Dairy Farm, and I've always loved to COOK and EAT! I prefer cooking with real ingredients, no low-fat, over-processed foods in my recipes!
