The School of Accounting and Finance (AF) of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University has been a leading provider of tertiary education in accounting. It is the longest-established accounting school in Hong Kong. With the restructuring of the Faculty in 2003, the School expanded its academic body with the incorporation of the three disciplines (economics, finance and law) into the School making it truly an interdisciplinary family. Building the strength of over 80 full-time teaching staff with diverse expertise and backgrounds, AF offers undergraduate and postgraduate programmes that incorporate recent frontier research findings and professional competency. The programmes are well recognized and accredited by numerous local and overseas professional institutions. Our curriculum demonstrates how theories apply in today’s business world. In today’s digital era, we offer technology-emphasized courses and Fintech workshops to deal with the rapid change in the real world.
