🌻Nature, 🥒food and 🐣animal lovers ! 🙋The youngest business man: Leo started a road side veggie stall, over a year ago after moving from Brisbane to Gatton - Lockyer Valley with the help of mum and dad. Leo started his little business with a couple of pumpkins and 2 bags of limes. The little shop operates with an honesty box in place. We buy the produce from local farmers, 2nds whenever possible, vegetables that have a little mark, too big, too small, they are not "perfect" for supermarket standards. This produce would end up in landfill or animal feed but there is actually nothing wrong with it. Once we get the produce we mark it as little as possible, enough for Leo to make some savings and keep very low prices to offer the community affordable fruit and veggies in these difficult times. By doing this also our goal is to teach Leo social skills, to save money, to be honest, responsible, thoughtful and to help others... and many more important and valuable aspects of life.
