Hey y'all! I was lucky enough to grow up in a very rural part of South Louisiana, the heart of Cajun Country where food is truly from the soul. My Mom, Grandma, and a bunch of amazing cooks around us always had something coming out of the oven from pies, cakes, bread, and other desserts. With this channel, I’ll try to elevate some of the more simple, humble recipes while still trying to keep the spirit of the original version. I believe in that saying, ‘if it’s not broken, it doesn’t need fixing’. I’ll just look at how to add my take on these recipes.
