About

We have been living off the grid in NC for the last 10 years, developing solar power systems with battery backup, primitive rainwater harvesting and filtration systems, wildcrafting, and raising animals and vegetable gardens that provide most of the food we need for our small family of 4. We also run a green building business where we build energy efficient homes and custom cabinetry, sourcing reclaimed materials and milling our own lumber with a portable sawmill. We're hoping to inspire confidence in people that want to build a better home and live a more self-reliant lifestyle.
