Advance Clinical and Translational Research (Advance-CTR) is a statewide hub for research services and support for all clinical and translational researchers in Rhode Island. Based at Brown University, Advance-CTR is a statewide partnership between Brown, the University of Rhode Island, Care New England, Lifespan, the Providence VA Medical Center, and the Rhode Island Quality Institute. Advance-CTR was founded after receiving an Institutional Development Award for clinical and translational research (IDeA-CTR) from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences. Advance-CTR's mission is to support clinical and translational researchers in Rhode Island through funding, research resources and services, and professional development opportunities in order to fuel discoveries that improve overall health in the state.
