California Connect is the State of California’s official telecommunications program for Deaf and disabled residents. We provide equipment and services for eligible residents who have hearing, speech, physical, cognitive, and visual disabilities. Our equipment and services are subsidized by the State of California, removing any financial barriers. California Connect is led by a passionate group of people who believe everyone should be able to experience life on their own terms, including equal access to communication. We believe that disabilities, such as the inability to hear someone on the phone, the fear of being misunderstood, and the hassle of operating inoperable technology, should not prevent people from communicating with the world around them.
