Welcome to the Big Bear Homestead where our mission is reaching the community through teaching homesteading. We live on a 21-acre homestead in Elberton GA, where we raise pigs, cows (beef and dairy), sheep, chickens, ducks, quail, and honeybees. We are in garden zone 7B, we have a large garden that we use to can our harvest. We also partake in the Grow Foods Not lawns movement Our videos are created with a fun spirit and sprinkled with experience. We try to highlight the many challenges we have faced and the lessons we have learned on our homesteading journey. If you want to see genuine homesteading ups and downs, you are in the right place!
